Patchouli is used as a base note in both men's and women's fragrances. An essential ingredient in many perfumes, it was a must-have in the 70s. Brought up to date, it brings this woody aspect to oriental perfumes. This plant comes in particular from the Philippines and Indonesia where there are many plantations.
