Question : Hello Valérie, thank you for welcoming us today. To begin, could you briefly introduce yourself?
V : I am a beauty center manager in Geneva and the surrounding region, married and mother of three children. I have always lived in Geneva.
Question : Where does your passion for classic cars come from?
V This passion came late in life. Following a bet with friends to participate in a car rally, I discovered the magical world of vintage cars. I was immediately captivated. A real revelation, even though nothing predestined me for it!
Question : As a business leader in the beauty industry, how do you see the connection between beauty, luxury, and classic cars?
V The connections are obvious. A love of beautiful things connects the two worlds. The timelessness of the designs, the quality of the materials, and the boldness of the lines delight my aesthetic side.
Question : What is your first olfactory memory linked to a car?
V : The smell of the cabin, of course. It's a subtle blend of leather, gasoline, and scents related to the car's history and experience.
Question : For the occasion, (and because we had to choose one from your collection), you are presenting your magnificent 1971 Mercedes 280SL. Can you tell us more about this car and what it represents for you?
V This car is completely original, which is rare for a car over 53 years old! It has always been very well preserved. Is that because it has only belonged to women? Three Swiss women in all, including me.
In 1971, a Zurich businesswoman bought it for herself, an act of independence for the time.
Question : Legend Leather, created by Master Alberto Morillas, was inspired by a drive through the Spanish countryside in his dream car. How does this inspiration resonate with your own experience and passion for cars?
V : I love the idea! What's more exhilarating than driving a vintage car along winding country roads, accompanied by the roar of the engine? I completely understand why you want to keep that moment forever.
Question : Your first impressions after smelling the Legend Leather perfume ?
V : A feeling of power and intensity that I have rarely felt in a perfume.
Question : How would you describe its olfactory evolution?
V : It's a fragrance that takes time to get used to. It makes a strong impression at first. Over time, it transforms, softens, and settles on your skin for a long time.
Question : In your opinion, does it have a regressive power? ?
V : I wouldn't choose the word regressive but rather persuasive. It's a fragrance that carries you away.
Question : If Legend Leather were a car, what would it be?
V : I would say a powerful and timeless car.I would choose a Porsche Speedster Pre-A for its immortal legend. Like the flower that composes it.
